Encontrei este curioso trecho no livro "Secrecy and deceit: the religion of the Crypto-Jews", de David Martin Gitlitz:
"This prayer for the New Moon was found in the Mogadouro region of Portugal in this century: May the Lord bless the moon and me, who are his creations; As the moon is yours in the heavens, may I be yours on earth. As I can see you, and not touch you (gesture with the hands toward the moon), may my enemies not be able to do me ill. "
